i absolutly hate the state of italian football and am extremely critical of it. No italian fan thinks otherwise. the problem i have is specifically with german fans hypocrisy in saying that without the 50+1 rule german football would be ruined, as if the negative consequences i highlighted outweights the benefits. look at RB leipzig, the most hated club in the top division, but its supporters got a pretty sweet deal: resurrected from the depths of german footbal, got into the semifinals of the champions league, leipzig itself received millions in revenue thanks to fotball tourism and direct investment from redbull. the only thing they had to concede was the rb in front of the name of the team and the 50+1 rule. but if the only way a small team can rise through the ranks and challenge at the top is to disregard the 50+1 rule, maybe the rule itself isn't fair
