In Serie A 39.8% of naturalised Italians play in first teams regularly. In Bundesliga 45.2% are German’s in first team football. In Ligue 1 47% are French in first team football. In La Liga 58.9 % are Spanish. So England behind in all rival European nations in terms of game time given to our youngsters than our brothers in Europe. It’s killing the English game, I do wish like we’ve been seeing is English players trying to move abroad. But it still angers me that the total lack of need to buy 23+ foreigners whether it be into academies or senior football is necessary, and as stats show England are suffering still even with such a small amount getting first team matches, we still got to a semi final World Cup and a Euros final. It needs changing to help our national team and country not alway is there better abroad and we need to believe in our own players.
