There is no better or worse, it depends, as taiyox said, on where the player feels more comfortable / is more used to and the tactics. A defender should always close the way to the middle and therefore is giving the attacker more space towards the wing. So in attack, when being left footed on the left it's easier to protect the ball as long as you're heading towards the opponents goal. It's obviously then easier to play to the wing on your side or to cross the ball, while it's easier to play a pass to the middle or finish when being right footed on the left. So tactically if you're aiming for possession - left footer on the left, if you're aiming for early finishing - left footer on the right. But as mentioned above also the direction counts. Pep for example uses very high wingers, often times they receive the ball with the back towards the opponents goal and in such cases it's easier to aim for possession when the left winger is right footed - as the ball is then again carried near the line and not in the middle where the defender has his focus on.

Yes i think our whole campaign in the CL is impressive. Id ssy only the first game at Paris andcthe 1st half in Madrid were bad other than that, we looked decent in every game. I think the holding DM is definitely his best position as he seems to excel more when Norgaard doesn't play. In a very difficult season he has been very consistent every game & arguably our player of the season.
