Which sounds like a good decision, ngl. That Chinese money will probably set his life up for good while getting some minutes against Iran or Morocco would barely count as having an 'international career'

Only one previous United player should get that job, and that's Giggs.

Please watch Ole's interview after we got beat by Everton last season, a comment that sticks out "some of these players won't be with us in the future". Is that not enough? The players you mentioned are all part of different clubs with different responsibilities. Re Angel Gomes, he will probably get his chance, but he's a youth player and is fourth in the pecking order. Andreas has showed signs of improvement lately and so he deserves a run in the team. Can't just expect a manager to drop three first teamers in favour of a youth player and expect miracles pal.

What do you want him to do; go full Mourinho and slate the players and the board to the media? That has never been the way of a Manchester United manager and the way in which he backs his players in the media is the way it should be. Re the substitutions, I agree that he sometimes delays it, but when you have Andreas in 10, struggling to create and Lingard on the bench your hands are pretty tied. Re Greenwood. He obviously wants to protect him. Who wants to put the pressure of leading the line for Manchester United on an 18-year-old's shoulders?

This season we are undefeated against any of the teams we’ve played that are above us in the league. We’re yet to concede in the EL and still progressing in the cups. Tactically, in the big games especially, the game plan has been spot on. Against weaker opposition, we have struggled against low blocks. Please point me toward a player who is creative enough to carve open a final ball, other than Mata who has lost his legs. We also lost games when Rashford was up top, who evidently can’t play with his back to goal and therefore hinders the way Ole wants to play. You’re wrong also about Ole being a yes-man, Roy Keane and Scholes have both said quite the opposite.

I disagree massively on this. If you wanna build for the long run, you need experienced players, they help the younger players and help the team for the short run. How can you build for the long run, if you have no short term plans? If you have Greenwood, who's 18, he won't be able to be the big man up top, signing a player that can be there 2-3 years will improve Greenwood a lot, but also the short term plans. Look at Ajax, they signed players like Blind, Huntelaar, etc, because they needed to help the younger players and keep the balance. Their big problem some years back was not having that experience (why they failed to win the Europa League against you), bringing in Blind & Huntelaar helped attack and defense a lot, with Schone who helped the midfield, then you had players like Neres, De Jong, De Ligt, etc who gained 1-2 years experience, that's how they build their "long term" plans.

Everton have Calvert Lewin as their striker, they’re also 18th

I am Ole in. The truth is, United have been on the decline since the Glazer takeover in 2006. We replaced Cristiano Ronaldo with Valencia, Obertan and Owen in 2009. If it weren't for Fergie and Van Persie, these problems would have surfaced much earlier. The squad is the highest paid in the Premier League and is so unbalanced, brought together by 5 different managers and still without a natural right winger. Long term: We need to stick with Ole. Every decision he has made off the pitch has been fantastic. He has binned players who didn't want to be here, the wrong side of 30 or simply not good enough. He will sure have his eyes on the next lot of departures too (i.e. Rojo, Young, Matic, Fred). Short term: There's not a top manager in the world that would get a tune out of yesterday's midfield/forwards. All I want to see now is some adaptability. His stubbornness with the 4-2-3-1 will be to his detriment. We need fresh ideas when the players are back from international duty. Try a 4-3-3 or a 3-5-2. It is also worth noting that were are now actually a solid defensive side, just terrible at attacking.
