Nevertheless, he deserves to be playing at a higher level than we’re offering. 40 g/a whilst playing with players like Kane, Musiala and Coman is what he deserves. If he leaves he’s just another talent we’ve wasted, one of the best attackers in Europe every year and we never even pushed for a serious trophy, that’s what makes me want to cry.

Jack Clarke is good he's ready for a bottom half PL side & Jaden needs another season in championship but he has bags of potential so could possibly go to a PL side & get loaned out straight away to a championship club

Niklas Füllkrug vs Joselu in the CL Final. Tell any Hannover 96 fan from 8-10 years ago that these two would face off in a CL final and they'd think you are crazy.

So back in 2012 my high school basketball team lost in the state championship. The team we lost to won their third in a row. About 5 years later, it came out that multiple players from Nigeria and the Dominican Republic were living with the head coach, which is illegal for public schools. They were stripped of their titles and it was given to us, technically making me a state champion. Sounds familiar, eh?

Well guys... We completed the revenge 🫡

Lol second division club (Wisła Kraków) just won Polish Cup today.

I checked the video's metadata. This video was taken June 2023. Seriously though, good news for him. Hopefully, he can be ready for next season so we can sell him

Arsenal fans gotta stop doing this sht. Celebrate one without plotting the downfall of another bro, is it that hard to be positive?

I wasn’t able to watch Sunday’s game because my fiancee went into labor early in the morning. My daughter was born that afternoon, unfortunately she’s suffering from some serious complications (she should be alright long term). Obviously I’ve been busy and I’ve avoided any “discourse” after the Villa game with no intention to seek it out. I don’t know what the post-match attitude or reactions were like on here, Twitter, Reddit or whatever and I don’t really care. All I have to say is the long time defeatist attitude in Arsenal circles really bothers me. I’m probably one of the more positive/confident users on here, and I just don’t understand the commitment to torturing oneself as a fan that runs rampant. It makes no sense to me. Just support the team and be confident, whether we’re in a title race or relegation race. And you know what, if we do get disappointed again, genuinely who cares. There’s bigger things to worry about. Pout for 20 minutes and move on. Go take a walk or something. It’s just football. We should win today. We are the better team. Anyone who calls themselves an Arsenal fan and believes otherwise just shouldn’t watch.

Even if they sell nobody i think they can spend 50 to 60 million
avatar
They have Bayer backing them. They will keep most of the squad and add a couple pieces but next seasons squad will be fairly similar

I need to share with you guys that I just got a promotion at work and found out I'm gonna be a father at the same week (AND IT'S ONLY MONDAY). Man, life couldn't be better! Hope my little gooner will be born in the same year we win the League, that would just be the icing on the cake Oh, and last week was my birthday, I'm really a lucky guy lol

He's a bit of a miracle worker lol. A bit of a natural winner as well went from reserve to managing Braga at like 34- (won 10 out of 13 , really turned Braga around) and then he went Sporting and went on to win the title in his 1st season. Done fairly well since, even in europe. Tactically astute, proper convinced in his way of playing and doesn’t change it at all, he plays the possession game, in a 3-4-3, so a three-man back line. Get's a lot out of his team and is just a good man manager, dosen't slag players off. During their deep build-up play, Amorim wants his three centre-backs to break the first line through the centre of the pitch as often as possible. He's pretty smart. In his 3-4-3 in which the team builds up from the back 3.Tactically with the double pivot dropping deep, centre-backs Sebastián Coates, Gonçalo Inácio, and the converted left-back Matheus Reis look to play forward passes into the feet of the double pivot. They then look to turn and find the attackers between the lines. If they can’t turn, the midfielders instead bounce the ball wide to the wing-backs and they control games that way. As they can adjust the shape , So they generate passes that will often bypass the closest options, and instead find an attacker dropping through the inside channels. In terms of what's already at Liverpool, We already have a very tactically inclined team. Players are very used to changing their shape or operating in different spaces co-operatively. And naturally having possession. The way Klopp has set the side up is like taking an attacking approach to defending via counter-pressing and the high line. Out of possession, Amorim’s Sporting is one of the most intense teams in Portugal. When pressing high up the pitch, the front three narrow to prioritise protecting the central spaces. Just like when his team is in possession, Amorim’s first thought is to occupy central areas. Their not so far apart tactically though. They both grind out results just from different emphasis on the risks they want their sides to take. Klopp is 1 of a kind though. Seeing good young players and players coming into their own like Diomonde, Gonçalo Inácio, Hjulmand, Pedro Gonçalves, M. Edwards, and Gyökeres (WHOS ON FIRE) perform well just let's you know he's doing something right.

Imagine if Havertz just settles fully and starts to ball out consistently. 70% of the Sofifa community will be lost without anyone to slag off lmao

So I'm a high school teacher and one of the classes I teach is an Intro to Film Studies class I designed myself. Based off our little discussion I decided I'm going to have a lesson examining the differences between avant-garde art films, "lowbrow" B movies and big budget commercial movies and why all 3 should be appreciated. Thanks for the inspo y'all lmao

Would like to own an apology to Joe Gomez. After the RM disasterclass last season, I stated that that should be his last game ever for us and should never wear our shirt again. However, he has and continues to prove me wrong in this inverted full back role and I’m really happy he has proven me wrong. It does also mean that more people are seeing my claim that he’s one of the best passers at Liverpool. Despite his performances last season, I stood by this fact and it’s showing

A typical Liverpool hijacking of a January deal hopefully.
avatar
Yeah, I mean, regardless the genre, good music is good to me. Anyway, hope you have a great day dude, cheers!
avatar
I see, yeah true I agree he is just giving a thought about the surface level of it. Oh, you are a musician, no wonder you know a whole lot more about this. I'm just a casual music listener, so I don't know much about the whole thing in that industry tbh, so the whole industry plant doesn't really bother me as a casual listener I guess.

Gunners, enjoy the celebrations of the New Year, take a lesson from past frustrating decisions and seasons and don't think bout the club for a while. A lot can be said about repetitive mistakes and honestly us fans deserve better. Simple as that. Happy New Year!
avatar
It needs to be studied in universities around the world what happens when Arsenal loses a game lol it's like the apocalypse was announced

Congrats for qualifying to Europa league, but our issues aren't related to AC Milan. We have been hit with too many injuries and battled on three fronts, cup, league & UCL on a very thin squad. Every club in the world will struggle if they constantly miss 7-8 very important players. Also, we signed 4 players last summer to make us stronger. Two didn't start today and are probably seen as backups, one is suspended for betting, and one has been injured since like the 3rd game of season. Meanwhile, other teams around us got stronger with better squads. Newcastle will have a strong 2nd half of the season if we can have less injuries & sign 2-3 very good players in January
avatar
Dunno if you can call it that. Earlier this year in order to finish a degree I switched jobs, essentially accepting a 50% pay cut. Turned out to be a soul-crushing ordeal, essentially costing me a 7 year relationship due to stress and pressure. 4 days ago I signed for a new job, which pays 50% more than the original one, Im leaving that fucking shitshow for good. Starting early february. I fucking hate cliches, but it really is going to be a new year. PSA Impostor syndrome is a hell of a thing, especially compounded with toxic and incompetent environment. Could be just sugarcoating corporate management talk, but new job said Im already overqualified, and will be first in line for certificates and promotion.

I've been a fan of signing a more attacking RB to compete with White too, but, even if I like Frimpong, I'm not sure he's the right profile. He's super small and basically plays as a winger for Leverkusen. Not sure he can play that 3rd CB -> overlapping role. I'd much rather someone who's bigger but still with nice attacking qualities. Tbh I still wanna see more of Tomi at RB because I think he has pot to be a really good alternative to White in that role (and he looked super promising there against Lens), and we also still have Timber. He's pacy and really technical so I think he could be an effective "6th man" to overlap and create. Also 40m is a lot for someone who'd mostly be a backup. But yeah, regardless, I'd like to see what more the current crop can do from now until the summer before I definitively say a new RB is needed. I like the idea and I see the reasons for it, but I don't think it's a priority atm.

Chelsea players attitude yesterday was poor. Didn't go fully in for the 50/50s, didn't see any kind of leadership on the pitch, many didn't even track back during transitions. Can talk tactics all day, but if the players don't do the basics then no tactics can save them at St James's park. Regarding tactics, that midfield got overrun so easily, especially when Uguchukwu got a yellow and had to be more passive. Gallagher wasn't energetic as usual whilst Enzo was just strolling around not looking interested, so I was surprised to not see Caicedo come on much earlier or even start, he's got some aggressiveness and bit at least which is needed for yous

We are always linked with these Brazilians but never actually sign them

5-1 City Haaland gets 2 and Bernardo, Foden, and Alvarez each get 1. Doku with a hat-trick of assists. Our goal will just be a Salah penalty that shouldn't have been given.
