why is this team not shown in the FIFA 08 database in SOFIFA, they were in 2nd tier in that game but all players that were at the team just show no club at all ( like https://sofifa.com/player/174009 or more famous example https://sofifa.com/player/183900 diego perotti )

Tf are the owners doing? I'd run away from this club the moment I could if this was happening to me

Totally destroyed us today... Can't even be too upset, it was like watching a young Messi playing today

Apologies for the long ramble, but this needs to be shared. This club is genuinely cursed man, I can't deal with this anymore... 2017-18 - Relegated from La Liga, 14 points from safety, going through 3 different managers 2018-19 - Fight for immediate promotion, in the automatic places before bottling to finish 6th at the end of the season. After defeating Málaga in the Play-Off semi-final, we beat Mallorca 2-0 in the first leg of the final So just one game away from a return to La Liga, just hold on, simple right? Depor lose the second leg 3-0. 2019-20 - A disastrous start to the campaign leaves Depor bottom of La Liga 2 halfway into the season. Luis César is sacked and replaced by Fernando Vazquez, the man who guided Depor to promotion to La Liga back in 2013-14, and well respected by Depor fans. Vazquez turns the club around, 7 wins in a row steer the club clear of relegation, but it wouldn't last. After a poor run of form sees Depor desperately needing to beat Extremadura to stay up. They lose 3-2, with Oscar Pinchi, a man born in Coruna, and a product of the academy, scoring a brace. But it's okay, Deportivo can still survive on final day, right? Well, after a covid outbreak in the Fuenlabrada team, Depor's match against them is postponed, and other results mean Deportivo are confirmed for relegation. After much controversy, Deportivo beat Fuenlabrada 2-1, and are relegated in an empty Riazor. The club send a court appeal to dispute their relegation. It's immediately thrown out. 2020-21 - So after relegation to the third tier of Spanish football, Deportivo have hit rock bottom right? After a strong start under Fernando Vazquez, Deportivo are top of the table. However, the pressure of winning gets to the players, and they begin to falter. The poor run culminates in perhaps the lowest point in the clubs history. Deportivo 1, Celta Vigo B, 2. Deportivo La Coruna, a club that won La Ligas, reached UCL semi-finals, have just lost to the youth team of their biggest rivals. It can't get any worse that this right? Vazquez is sacked and replaced with Ruben de la Barrera (remember that name), and things pick up, with a clear upturn in form, but it isn't enough. Deportivo finish fourth, a point off the promotion play-offs. 2021-22 - Despite his good work, Deportivo part ways with Ruben de la Barrera, unable to agree on wages. Instead the club appoint Borja Jimenez, a man with a clear record on promotion from Segunda B, with Cartagena and Castellon. The season begins and things look good, Deportivo thrash Celta B 5-0 on opening day, sit top of the league, and even put in an impressive performance against Osasuna in the Copa Del Rey. But it's Deportivo La Coruna we're talking about, things can never go well for long. The club begin to falter, with inconsistent results a fall into 2nd place, putting them into the play-offs. After beating Linares they face Albacete in the final. A win will promote Depor back to Segunda, even a draw after extra time will promote them, as they collected more points in the main stage. The odds are essential rigged in Deportivo's favour. Mario Soriano puts Deportivo ahead after 24 minutes, we look good. Instead of pushing for more, Borja Jimenez takes of Quiles, our top scorer, and decides to park the bus against Albacete. Deportivo La Coruna, Spanish champions, European contenders, are now parking the bus against Albacete in the third division. We concede in the 85th minute. Extra-time. All we have to do is hold on for 30 minutes and we are promoted. Guess what happens. We concede in the 115th minute and lose the match to Albacete. Guess who Albacete's manager is... Ruben de la Barrera. So here I am, watching Deportivo accept their THIRD season in the 3rd tier, on a shitty 360p Footers stream that cuts out every 5 minutes. This club needs a complete clear-out at the top level, Forza Depor.

It's still far from over. The game against Bremen really showed, that these are the two best teams in the League well just have to continue playing like this in the remaining games and we'll be fine

Fernandes was an absolute beast in the penalties, almost saved 4

Does anyone really deserve +1 pot? Look at yourself. Look closely. Do YOU deserve +1 pot?

Solid high 60s rated player shame Ralph didn't give him another chance i could've seen him as a solid backup for a long time if we didn't have so many wingers I hope he does well and gets to at least championship level or goes back to America they seemed to appreciate him well
avatar
Real real shame what happened to him. It's all been leaked and has been now for weeks that he may never truly play football again because of a heart condition. Saints managed to help him get back on his feet even though they didn't need to which was nice to hear, I just hope he recovers and gets back out there one day.
avatar
So happy to see him back, hopefully he's doing well up north
avatar
Apparently he is going to Boavista
avatar
Still a good player, had a very solid game today and he would have gotten a standing ovation when coming off if there were fans present. 75/75
