Look at the young talent we have in midfield. Barella, Fagioli, Tonali, Frattesi, Miretti, Rovella, Locatelli, Ricci just to mention some of the best young ones.

The Portuguese have some class midfielders like Nunes and Neves but there’s a reason why they play at a relegation battle team. The rest of those you mention are not as good as the Italian ones. Goncalves of Sporting seems fantastic though. You mentioning Germany is a complete joke and makes your argument invalid. Your best one Musiala is basically English and is also more of an attacker, same goes for Wirtz. The rest of the German players you’re mentioning are just random average young players from the Bundesliga, some haven’t even broken through at senior level yet.
