Choose wisely, if you wanna read all of this or not. ;) As a Stuttgart fan, obviously VfB Stuttgart II, but even Stuttgarter Kickers, because them playing higher up would also benefit VfB in some ways. Otherwise, other big enough clubs that have history, and actual fanbases: Kickers Offenbach, Rot-Weiss Essen, Energie Cottbus, Alemannia Aachen, SSV Ulm, Preußen Münster, Wattenscheid 09, Carl Zeiss Jena, FSV Frankfurt, Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, FC 08 Homburg, Fortuna Köln, SpVgg Unterhaching... that's about it. Plenty of teams in league one and two don't have that much of a successful history, or actual proper fans/theoretical opportunities to build a bigger fanbase. Teams I wouldn't notice if they disappear from 1. Bundesliga: Mainz 05, meh. Augsburg, meh. ([2.] Ingolstadt, boo.) ([2.] Paderborn, don't care.) ([2.] Heidenheim, uninteresting. Also Regensburg and Sandhausen, perhaps even Kiel and Aue.) Fürth, more a club for the second division. RB Leipzig, pure plastic and same goes for Hoffenheim, even Leverkusen, though they have some history, but a gross sponsor in their name and logo. Wolfsburg too, though it's a slightly less worse situation than in Leverkusen. Many of these clubs and their fans are easy to replace by Kaiserslautern or 1860 München, FC Nürnberg, Hannover, KSC, and the obvious ones that got relegated last year, Schalke 04, Werder Bremen, and also surely HSV which have been down for too long now. Clearly, many teams are nowadays deeply unsuccessful because of terrible decisions and bad finances, but Wolfsburg, etc. show that money doesn't buy a great atmosphere. And Wolfsburg has been around for quite a bit now. Even Freiburg doesn't have a great atmosphere, at least not comparatively. Even their coach said so. Still, I accept that club, because they made a lot of progress, without huge sponsors. Leipzig does have passionate fans, however I just wish Red Bull had another way of doing things. If they had chosen Dresden, or whoever, and didn't change the logo, etc. I would've been a bit more open to the situation. An elaborate answer, because I took your question as a chance to look online for teams that I'd rather see in the upper leagues of Germany, instead of the many replaceable ones we have at the moment.

really nice kits

Goods kits!
avatar
Seems to be a good team for a RTG. Nice colour of kits and a few good young lads with potential.

First successful Rtg ever in Fifa
avatar
Tifo Football's youtube channel did a class video on why you should care about the Bundesliga 2. I didn't realise just how competitive it was.

What is the ideology of the ultras of each club in the league?

After watching Sunderland til I die i can safely say his rating should be 58/61

Was terrible at Sunderland from what i saw in the series, he just made another typical Steele mistake😅🤣

Just started to watch Sunder Land Til I day, and my goodness what a walking dumpster fire this lad is

Respect to all people doing career with EAG We are actually a very small City with only 6-7k people in and i wanna thx all of you doing career with them 🙌🏻
avatar
He is better than Sterling and already close to Mane's level. Watch Leverkusen games. His dribbling and composure is top notch
avatar
Reminder that it's free to watch Serie B games with english commentary on Mola
avatar
Better than Xavi, Iniesta, Gerrard, Lampard, Pirlo, de Bruyne, Scholes etc. Honestly the best midfielder I've ever seen (since Zidane).
avatar
An excellent leader and example on and off the field, even with victory in hand, he still consoles his "son" Rodrygo.

best midifilder in the history

Thats actually an awesome amount of information, I've already started a career but that information brings the league alive. I decided to make my own team from scratch - Union Vilvoorde, after the area of Brussels as I agree that the capital needs more competition. I was going to do an Asia-based career with STVV but they're really bad and their kits are weird. I decided I'd rather do my own thing so I gave myself a 1 star starting team and €50 million. I've tried to make signings as realistic as possible but I did allow myself one (fairly) unrealistic signing with Marouane Fellaini returning to belgium to be my captain. My other signings I think are realistic.

I'd go for either: KV Mechelen: Has won international trophies in the past: 1988 (European Cup Winners Cup + Supercup). A team with a very loyal fanbase that has had more downs than ups in the last 20 years but will always have a place in Belgian Football. Known for using & producing local Belgian talents & some young African talents. Fans are known as 'The kakkers' basically the shitters translated into English. It was used as an insult towards them. RSC Charleroi: Team owned by a Franco/Iranian. Charleroi known as one of the ugliest cities in Europe & the only time people go to Charleroi is to go to the airport. But the team has been on the rise by good management of Mehdi Bayat their owner. Have good scouting & acquire cheap + sell for profit. Victor Osimhen/Dodi Lukébakio two of the more recent names. Nickanmed Les Zèbres (the zebras for their shirts) or Les Carolos (for the ancient latin name of the city). SV Zulte Waregem: Was a very good mid table to subtop team unti the last 5 years where they've constantly been downgrading. A team looking for their place. Came in the first division in 2005 with Semi-Pro's. Almost won the league in 2012-2013. Have a fierce Rivalry with KV Kortrijk (neighbouring City) which due to the history is called the Vlasico (because of the Flax that was made there). Fans call themselves 'boeren' or peasants because it was used as a slur by their rivals to them. If you want to create a team: I'd go for Daring Club de Bruxelles (check Wikipedia) 2nd oldest team, still active under a new name. It would be really cool to have 3 teams from Brussels competing. They were also the team of the people originating from Sint-Jans Molenbeek, that has a bad rep in the last 15 years. Could be cool to reglorify them. Or Lokeren: Played great European football but went Bankrupt a few years ago. Other teams: Club Brugge (recent number one team), Gent (supposed top team), Genk (top team), Antwerp (top team), Anderlecht (top team), Union (Brithon Hove are owners), Standard (777 Partners are owners), Kortrijk (malaysian owners) OH Leuven (Leicester), Sint Truiden (Japanese owners), Westerlo(Turkish Owners), Cercle Brugge (AS Monaco is owner), Seraing(Metz is owner), Oostende(american owners) & Eupen(Qatar owners).

Ive played a regular season game against these guys in a Realistic Create-a-Team RTG, Taunton Town FC. Ive started them off in EFL League Two with 1.5 Star rating, a young core and 5mil mainly to get youth development started and bring in 3 savvy developable transfers. https://youtu.be/36MC9CBdZKQ Hoping to upload everyday, Thanks.
avatar
Rodez Aveyron are the best team for a RTG. - lovely kits - low transfer budget - no high potential players - Stadium in real life is being developed (use Molton Road or Stadion Neder) - have a low average squad age already Enjoy and go make history in a small city in the south of France

Even though we probably lose the Scudetto this year I'm still glad Juve is not winning it and Serie A is getting more competitive again with more teams fighting for the title. Next year will be exciting as hell if we keep our main squad and replace our high wage backup players while Milan and Juve further improve their squads. Milan will probably replace Kessie with Sanches and sign Berardi, Botman, a 10 and a starting striker. So their defense and midfield will be strong af. Juve probably sign Pogba, di Maria and a new CB and LB and Chiesa might be fit again after summer, so it will be interesting to see them with all starting players fit. I still think they'll have a hard time replacing Chiellini cause he's basically the soul of the club and the only Juventini left is Bonucci who loses his partner in crime. Same goes for Napoli with Insigne Lazio will probably replace Acerbi with die hard Laziali Romagnoli while Mourinho has Spinazzola back and might improve the squad even further building on the likes of Abraham, Pellegrini, Spina, Kardsdorp and Zaniolo. Atalanta seems to be on decline though but Fiorentina seems to be back as a regular top 6 contender with Italiano. Imo it will be a fight of Milan, Juve and us with Juve probably falling off a bit at the end of the season due to their defense. We just gotta make sure we don't lose key players this summer and if so at least replace them properly (De Vrij and Bremer)

Had to admit he should be 84 or 85 easily

Swap ratings with Messi

Spanish Totti

He didn't get a red it was a second yellow
avatar
I didn’t see the tackle but the new rule is, if you tackle someone with momentum (strong/aggressive slide tackle) if u touch the guy it’s a foul, I’m guessing Alexis went in really aggressively which is dangerous obviously so it don’t matter if he got the ball first
avatar
It was not the tackle in it self that was the the problem if he actually hit the ball as you say. Every player is responsible for their own body and alexis continued to slide and had the bottom of his shoe against fabinhos leg which is a yellow and a foul wether or not he hit the ball first
avatar
just watch lens-brest

Feel sorry for him as he's been great and probably deserved more. I'd like to see him win a Champion's League title eventually.

What a player!!!

I guess it will be "Welcome to Bernabeu"!

People tend to massively underrate active players and romantize retired players. That's why people still don't like to compare him to Xavi and Iniesta. I'm sure Modric will get the respect he deserves finally when he retires. I don't know how anyone could honestly see him playing like this at 37 years old and still not recognizing him as truly one of the all time greats. I really don't like these "X is better than X" debates but the fact is that Modric has been consistently one of the best midfielders in the world for ten years now, he largely contributed to the 4 UCLs Real won in just 5 seasons, he carried his country to a World Cup final and won a Ballon d'Or (even if it perhaps wasn't deserved). Modric is evidently one of the greatest midfielders of all time and up there with Xavi and Iniesta but the nostalgia merchants (I hate this term) don't want to admit it. I'm sure most people who still regard the Modric-Xavi/Iniesta comparisons as insane are kids who never even saw Xavi or Iniesta in their prime.
avatar
Favorite moment for me was when he took a max sprint to chase down Messi and timed a perfect slide tackle. What can't this man do?

DESERVED 92/92 NOWWWWWWWW

89-90/89-90. Was the best player of all time (Right now) Is shit

What a game we played. Gave it to Liverpool punch for punch. This is an elite team we were playing, that got 18 points in the group of death, and that could deservedly win it all. Two centimeters of the crossbar and then Firmino running away from the goal looking the other way with the back of his head finds the two degree angle between the post and Handa's hand. People criticize our strikers, but on the other side until that tough header, for 75 mins, 0 shots on target for the world class front three of Liverpool. A perfect game up until that moment by Inzaghi, and world class performances by our back three. After all, in 90 minutes we had the only real chance of the game. Once again we take regret. It's crazy since Inzaghi came we never feel like we get away with any lucky results, if we win, we really have to earn them. Top midfielders everywhere you look, but the standout was Calha, just brilliant. Perisic and of course Skriniar magnificent. A shame for the result, but against top teams these things can happen. Proud of the team.

What can Inter learn from last night's game: 1- The team has matured, and can play very competitive games against European giants. 2- Inter is in desperate need of midfield players. Someone of a higher quality like Eriksen. Hakan is decent but we need someone unique who could be an exceptional play-maker and even a scored. 3- While Klopp was trying to choose between Keita, Oxlad, and Henderson in mid, between Matip and Gomez in def, and Firminho, Diaz and Origi in Attack...Inzaghi was like AWKWARD!! He did not have any player in the bench whos at least is 80% or even 70% the quality of players who are already playing! Inter's bench is really poor and that's what made the difference yesterday. 4- Inter did a huge mistake not signing Zakaria, who was cheap and available and better than our mids. Anyways hope next summer we sign 2 mids and a prolific striker. We play well as a team but we dont have any real stars who can make a difference on their own.

I come up with an idea that I personally find more interesting than the Beneliga. Basically it's doing the same thing as in MLS with a Dutch conference of 14 or 16 clubs and a Belgian conference of 14 or 16 clubs with on each side 8 qualified clubs on each side to play in the 8th finals, quarterfinals finals, semi-finals and a grand finals. Each club plays the teams from its conference in a home and away match (30 matches). The 8th finals oppose the 1st of one conference to the 8th of the other, the 2nd to the 7th of the other, the 3rd to the 6th of the other and so on. I don't know if it is more interesting to play the round of 16, the quarter-finals and the semi-finals on a single match or on two back and forth matches. And like that for relegations, Belgium and the Netherlands can keep exactly the same system by bringing down the bottom of each division.
