Regarding Ianis, even though many people like comparing him to his father, except for the same name they are quite different players overall. Yeah they play the same CAM position but Gheorghe was strong, pretty fast, had good dribbling ability, and excellent long shots from his left foot. Ianis, on the other hand, is more like a passer type of AM. He is not fast, but has word-class vision, excellent short and long passes, and can use both his feet People need to get past the name on the jersey and look at Ianis as his own player.
