Sky Sports saying we're in the race for Bruno Guimaraes... I personally think we should have signed him years ago, but if we can get him for under 60 mil we should be all over him, only thing I don't like about him is that he's dirty, but he's still bloody good
avatar
always the same shit they don't deserve it and end up winning ffs.
avatar
Nothing but respect for players like Kroos, Modric etc but seeing dickheads like Vini happy will always upset me. He is unbearable!
avatar
Winning against Real madrid in a European final isn't for everyone i suppose
avatar
"Shitty players" wow
avatar
Felt very much like us vs Spurs to me tbh.
avatar
in that game only courtois saved your ass clown

I think he's being very stupid with this statement under slot this coming season he has a great chance to work on his game and get game time for a top European team. But if he's gonna be like that then let him leave we don't need that type of talk here.
avatar
Is this true? He’s got a good opportunity to grab a spot in this team, saying this before the pre season makes no sense on his part.
avatar
Very dumb move by Van den Berg taking that interview. He wasn't trusted back then because he's not good enough, that's the whole point of him being loan out, so he can improve Should have just waited and seen what would happen under Slot first. But with that interview, he might not even be in the pre season squad. And the club won't sell him cheap either
avatar
Of course.
avatar
Salah in a Swans team? What have you done with Swans.
avatar
Well no thats my point😅

Preach
avatar
If he's sold I'd say if we get between £15-20m for him we'll have done really well tbh, I think he'll get an opportunity in preseason though. I guess a few people owe Big Jorg Schmadtke an apology.
avatar
SIUUUUUU, we’re not selling him for pennies at least 😭😭🙏🙏 https://x.com/jamespearcelfc/status/1795401769150808105?s=46&t=aXhMh5rjASDK7esNe7FFLg

Lol I read this in Klopp’s voice

https://x.com/TransferSector/status/1794814516745978334?t=-6qIoNMX8OvKkWGvKI3YGw&s=19 Timing would be very convenient, seeing as that's when the judgement about Manchester City's 115 charges will be due.
avatar
The midfield trio of Thiago Fabinho Gini was superb, haven't seen Liverpool play as good since then. Thiago is one of few who can dictate the tempo against elite teams, one of the best playmakers in the past decade
avatar
Another ghosting session in a final for Haaland. So happy that Argentinian midget robbed the Ballon d'Or off him last year 🫶
avatar
Hopefully that's the last chance City have to win a trophy for a good while, I want a FAIR punishment for their 115 charges. They SHOULD be relegated, but I will settle for a huge points deduction and Guardiola gets sacked... (And Haaland gets molested)
avatar
I was getting a bit sick of City winning trophy after trophy even though it’s not good United to get one. Hopefully next season more teams will have a go at City.

avatar
It’s times like these where we turn to god
avatar
Xavi's got the makings of a great manager and no lie I would have considered taking him here, I wish him a very bright future in management
avatar
Mourinho is way past it, Tuchel and Conte keep failing out with everyone, Allegri football sucks, Zidane just disappeared the last 3 years, will he manager again lol I'm more surprised they don't go for Amorim for example. I guess Bayern or United can still go for Poch, but well, it's up to them
avatar
Looks like ten Hag out now, Man Utd and Chelsea are getting linked with McKenna, Bayern is going for Kompany, freaking hell. Thank god we got Slot in first before anyone else

Arne Slot’s influence is so strong our players are willing to go bald for him 🙌 https://x.com/theanfieldtalk/status/1793948158826811505?s=46&t=aXhMh5rjASDK7esNe7FFLg

Never wanted Xabi anyway. Fraudulent manager.
avatar
Gives me hope for Dortmund
avatar
that atalanta fan who recommended lookman was probably cooking something up....
avatar
Arsenal massively overperfomed their xG, i was saying for ages that their attack is nothing special and they dont create much really in comparison to other top teams. Next year is gonna be a wake up call for them imo.
avatar
Him and diaz will pay for this man
avatar
Ben Doak has made the provisional Scotland squad for the European Championship

great video explaining Slot's set up and the different roles in his Feyenoord team I'm really curious how/if he will try to implement the same system here. Trent inverting from left back with Bradley as an overlapping right back could be exciting (but also very risky). Big concern would be Endo in the Wieffer role for me, as much as I like him, he really isn't the most press resistant DM. Maybe Gravenberch could be developed into that role? Salah as an inside forward again and Diaz providing the width on the left sounds nice, I'm curious what the plan for Gakpo will be. https://youtu.be/_IyMEUDb6AY?si=9dGTJW0g2V4sjXTG

My thoughts: Defence: Main problem was the lack of a structure, slot will probably fix it with minimal changes, that said a signing is deffo needed we cant rely on quansah starting. Konate obviously wont be able to play for a whole season so we should get a cb even if sepp stays. Preferably somebody left footed who can also play lb. Midfield: Imo a dm is absolutely needed bajcetic is way way too young to be entrusted with that position in the pivot, endo for me should be nothing more than a backup like milner was. We need to add some physicality back into the team we lose way too many duels and dont have enough pace in that midfield. Attack: An overhaul is needed here diaz and nunez are given one last chance next season either they perform to liverpool standard and stay or they dont live up to our standards and both are sold next summer. I do think if we get a good offer for diaz now we sell. We need a versatile winger thats young, has pace can beat his man and has good underlying numbers. Striker i dont see us getting anyone actually i wouldnt be suprised if we see gakpo playing there under slot i think he could use him to great effect. Cam imo and this might be unpopular its szobo's position to lose yes elliot has done admirably this season but szobo is a world class player in the making his technique, vision and football iq make him ideal for that position just look at what hes doing for hungary where hes allowed freedom. Elliot could play at Rw if he develops his dribbling a bit more i think he can do it but for now him rotating with szobo for the cam position sounds ideal. Another unpopular take if carvalho stays play him at striker ive watched him for hull this season and his finishing is actually very underrated i think he'd do great there.

Southgate has finally dunked on Henderson Shame he didn’t have the balls to do it to Maguire and Trippier too
avatar
Quansah, Gomez, and Jones are in the England preliminary squad. No Harvey.

avatar
https://x.com/piersmorgan/status/1791912824110776786 His team haven’t won the league in 20 years and never won the UCL by their logic they aren’t an English or European Great either

Since it looks like you can’t count let me help you out with this. Don’t care what other fans think Jurgen has done a tremendous job and Spurs would die to have a manager like that and the way he won those trophies. https://s3a.sofifa.net/2edbbe4ecbba04f5a01889a9b6df97b877baba29.jpg

Klopp’s final post match dressing room speech: “I love you, that’s all I can say,” he told the squad as he stood in the middle of the dressing room. “The football you are able to play is absolutely ridiculous, I can’t wait. Watching you, developing, making the next steps, becoming third. “I don’t even know yet who became champion, City? The only one who’s stopped them is us and you can do that again. “I said it this morning, there might be some people who say ‘that’s not enough’, I tell you they don’t have a clue about football. “Could you have done better in moments? Yes. Of course, that’s always possible. But did you do better than you can usually expect? Oh yes! “Because it takes longer to become a top team again, and you did that (clicks fingers) like this. “That’s why expectations get [blown up], and then we couldn’t keep their pace. That’s the problem a little bit. “But besides that, becoming third in the first season of Liverpool 2.0, and from now on, with new energy from outside, for you, with new influences, with new boosts, with new [chances for] proving yourself, that’s good for squeezing everything out of your career. “So it’s already too much. “I want to say I love you, it was absolutely outstanding. Thank you for the ride, I’m so proud of you and I’m so proud that I have been allowed to be part of this. “Thank you very much, the sky is the limit for you boys. Thank you.” How can you not love this man! He deserved 3 PL titles and another CL but competing against an oil state club who have cheated and Real Madrid who seem to have officials their side every year is a near impossible task to achieve. But he got us back to the top and is leaving behind a great crop of boys for Slot.

Jürgen's very happy with what he's done in his time as manager, the farewell was a warm celebration. It felt right.
avatar
That’s how you change the culture of football. Not by winning trophies or using revolutionary tactics but by bringing out raw true emotions from people. Hated or adored but he’ll never be ignored.

I'm getting married in August. I met my soon to be wife in May 2015 and Jurgen joined Liverpool in October 2015. My life has changed massively for the better in those 9 years. He will always be a legend of this club and in our memories! Danke Jurgen

Arne Slot in the plane on the way over, sitting and taking in revelation after revelation about the club. ↓↓↓ There is massive potential here.

I'm in my late 20's and I don't know if we'll ever have another manager like Klopp. Of course, he represents all Liverpool supporters, but for anyone around my age, he is truly our guy. Since he's been leading this club I've watched my first major Liverpool trophy, been to my first in-person Liverpool game (preseason in NYC), went to my first Anfield game on new years day this year with my parents (also Liverpool supporters) and my now fiancee, and have had countless other memories with family, friends, and strangers because of what he created at the club. More than anything else, I will miss his guidance, wisdom, character, and integrity. He is a unique individual in the world who is able to help people transcend their circumstances and see what is real and important about this life that we are all blessed to have; love, passion, growth, struggle, failure, stories, experiences, connection. I'm just damn proud to be a Liverpool supporter and thankful to have had this experience with him over the last 9 years.

i can't believe that it really is over...💔 thank you jurgen, for everything.
