If Liverpool sign a midfielder in the summer, I reckon we should look at Curtis Jones. People may not like the name, but he was genuinely excellent in the back-end of last season and the first half of this one. Hasn't played as much recently. If we only make 1 midfield signing, I'm not sure it should be him. But if we want another one, if we want a "pure 8", then I like Jones a lot. Just a really tidy player. Rarely loses the ball, press-resistant, can dribble his way out of trouble, good passer. Also think he has some attacking upside. Still young, PL proven, HG. Ticks a lot of boxes. Idk, not my first choice, but it feels like a deal that could make sense for all parties, provided Liverpool sign another midfielder this summer (which I don't necessarily think they will btw, but they arguably should.)

crazy to think he joined madrid at 27, when most people are in their prime and got called worst signing of the season, just to cement himself as a legend

thoughts on signing Ortega? He's proven to be a reliable shotstopper, and is overall very complete in what he offers. his only downside is that he's a little bit short by GK's standards. I reckon he'd leave with a promise of starting choice GK minutes, and I don't think City will ask too much for him either. I'd personally sign him and make him our first choice keeper, keep Sanchez as a #2 / competition (can start the cup games and in Europe), and loan Petrovic because he will need the minutes to develop. I'm guessing that he'll be receiving PL loan offers from mid-to-low table teams.

For me, the lineup today should be almost guaranteed to be this. Subs being James for Gusto, Silva for Chalobah and Sterling for Mudryk. Should be a comfortable 3-1 win imo. COYB! https://s3a.sofifa.net/55e44b5f280441f93f1cd76dad6f862dfde03795.png

80/82 he plays such a good season that nagelsmann will nominate him as one of 4 CBs for germany in the last 2 games before the EUROS at home. - before schlotterbeck and ginter by the way who are rated significantly higher here. he had already promised him to be nominated in november, but koch got injured a week before the nomination

Most confusing player. Through injuries. Starting today on the wing and taking corners. In an interview game with Eze and Guehi, Eze said he was the fastest player on the team. Who is this man and what is he actually good at?

Crazy how much disrespect this guy gets. Won 4 CL titles, 3 back-to-back, and was one of the best of the world in his position. Real fans highly regard Casemiro and he's an important part of their history. He's struggled this season but people chat about him like he's Ali Dia or something.

May 2023: Playing regularly for a team that was 1 game away from premier league football May 2024: Released from FGR who have been relegated to the national league (implying he's not even good enough for that division) How did it go so wrong so quickly?

This small team with no prospects to play high level football got destroyed by one of the best teams of the decade so far and you are here to chat shit on them. Amazing. I do believe De Zerbi's Brighton is overrated, not overrated as "it is actually shit and people gaslight themselves into believing it isn't shit", but overrated in "yes, De Zerbi is doing some very interesting work and can become a very successful manager for decades to come, but you can only do so much in Brighton". Brighton isn't playing career mode irl, where they can afford to keep their best players and all the high potential lads they keep buying are already in the 80s and fighting to the top of the league. Brighton is still Brighton. They are plotting some evil stuff by getting under the radar wonderkids before the big clubs, but again, this will only get you so far. Yes, they finished last season in 6th, but fighting for the Top 4 wasn't the natural next step, finishing 6th was completely unexpected and there is no way your goal is to fight for the Top 4 if you keep selling your best players and the replacements are the same hidden gems you decided to dedicate your club into developing to sell. Keeping the same coach isn't a guarantee that your team will keep evolving, the manager isn't the one who is going to score, create chances nor save shots. The problem with teams that overperform is that people will just assume that now this team is equally as likely to win titles as the teams who established themselves on the top years ago. Girona's goal before the season started wasn't winning La Liga and it will not be next season. Xabi Alonso made the hardest choice by staying in Leverkusen, because it is going to be insanely hard to replicate what he did this season, let alone make it better. Do you know how Leicester performed the season right after they won the PL? 12th with the same amount of points as Brighton currently has, while Brighton still has 4 games to play. TL;DR: De Zerbi isn't a shit overhyped manager, he just can't turn a mid table squad into title contenders by pure tactics shenanigans.

There are several things: 1. Hummels is better, so people feel angry when Terzic prefers Süle and take it wrongly with the player. 2. With Germany he has had bad games so Germans don't like him. 3. Ex bayern, so he has enemies everywhere. 4. Sometimes he has a bad attitude or is irregular. 5. His weight is not ideal, he used to be much more agile. 6. He is the player with the highest salary on the team. Personally I think he is a useful player, and considering he came for free I don't mind his salary. I think he pays the consequences of having a bad coach.

this lazy fuck is one of my absolute favorite players, but it makes me mad to see such a waste of potential. he's tall and strong and for that extremely fast. I've never seen an CB with his physique with such an incredible technique with the ball. And this guy is just eating junk food, while doing the barely minimum of fitness. There seems to be no ambition in this guy anymore and he's still kinda young. Not even for the home europe cup. You can laugh at me but I'm 100% sure this guy could be the best CB in the world with stats like 89 overall, but he's "just" like an 80. Let's see where he will end. Maybe the desert, where they pay his esteem.

For the last week or so I have been working on a summer business model that I would like to see, this took me quite some time, and feel free to criticize me this is just my opinion on what I would like to see done this summer. some of my shouts are ready-made replacements and some are for the future but I tried to keep our budget in mind so please consider that I just tried to give multiple options while naming targets. Sales Sule 25m Bensebiani 10m Reyna 15m Haller 10m Mouki loan Wolf free Reus free Papa free Pohlmann 1m Ozcan 5-10m Morey free Malen 60m Transfer budget 40m + sales = roughly 171m budget Center back P. Schuurs W. Anton I. Hien Bella Kotchap K. Danso W. Singo Zeno Debast T. Beelen J. Siebert *D. Huijsen N. Milenkovic For centre back, I would like to sign a player for right CB to take half of Hummels minutes and be ready to fully start the by the end of next season. My top 2 picks are 1. Huijsen and 2. Debast. I would also like to bring back Coulibaly for schlottis backup and promote Mane as a 5th CB. Fullback *I. Maatsen G. Doue J. Vagnoman Vanderson *F. Kadioglu A. Bah *L. Geertruida For fullback Maatsen has to be #1. I would like to bring back Rothe to be backup and my second choice which is almost ahead of Maatsen is Geertruida, could be our starting right back as well as CB cover then we could have Ryerson able to share minutes/cover LB too. I also would want to sign Kadioglu for the same reasons minus the CB cover. I think we should splash the cash on Maatsen and Geertruida Central Mids G. Dorley R. Oyedika L. Gourna-Douath H. Larssen *E. Martel *M. Weiffer J. Schouten A. Varela A. Stiller A. Stach For central mids, I would like to sign Weiffer or Martel, someone who can take over for Emre with good performances. I would like to sign more but we won't be getting rid of Nmecha and I don't want to stunt Watjens development. If Emre is sold I would like no one other than Stiller to replace him though, would be nice to have someone that just keeps the ball. Attacking Mids/Wingers J. Beste Sofiane Diop *D. Doue Carlos Forbs A. Nusa B. Gruda R. Hack E. Zhegrova *J. Bakayoko *J. Sancho I know we just bought a youngster that I don't know anything about but for 10m I assume he's promising but I'm not going to let that affect my choices as I built this way beforehand. I would like to sign 1 bigger money player and one talent, I would like to trust JBG and Adeyemi but we still need a starter on the right, hoping this will be Sancho. I wouldn't want to spend anything over 35m though, Bakayoko if we could get him cheaper than Sancho, I would also like Duranville to get healthy if not look at Gruda. Striker M. Beier *S. Guirassy K. Denkey J. Zirkzee T. Moffi For striker, I wish I could be more creative but it looks like we want Guirassy. I would like a different profile but as long as Terzic is here this will be the only profile we go for. As I've said before having just turned 28 a 3 or 4-year contract would basically put him at Fulle's age now so for 17m and everything considered it's a no-brainer for me because not many players with his profile are better than him. I would also like to promote Brunner. Signings Total 167m Huijsen 30m Maatsen 35m Sancho 35m Geertruida 30m Guirassy 17m Weiffer 20m Watjen free Coulibaly free Brunner free Mane free Rothe free Some of the numbers may be off but I tried to be as realistic as possible also just to be clear I'm not an expert on every player from every league but I like to think I know a little bit about all the players on this list, I know not everything is 100% realistic but I tried to do it to the best of my ability, I apologize for the length of this post but playing manager has always been something I've been into so its fun for me, cheers!

With his aggression and relentless dogging attitude, he might just be a solution to Kante's vacancy in Chelsea's midfield. Best thing about him is after every tackle he gets up extremely quickly to be ready for a next move, either a pass to teammate after winning ball or may be another tackle. Always on the move.

He's a second striker not a proper no.9. So juventus should go for him to pair up with vlahovic. Allow David to play deeper where he's best.
