HERE IT IS FELLAS !! New season and new challenge for the coach João , to lead this new Genoa project. Genoa came back to the Serie A this season after winning Serie B and being promoted together with Como and Pisa but the American owners chocked the football community after making a move for a coach who had interest from clubs like Dortmund , Leverkusen , Atletico , etc.. Coach João loves a good challenge and the board did some nice signings to make João confortable with his decision , signing João Marques from Lille , Logan Costa from Toulouse and Giuseppe Ambrosino from Napoli were the most expensive signings , also with some sick signings for a club that came from the Serie B like Montipo from Verona , Martim Neto from Benfica and also Luis Alberto who ended his contract at Lazio.. keeping Abner was also one of the best " signings " that Genoa could have made.
Our main objetive this season is to stay in the Serie A and try to push for midtable spots and also a good run in the Coppa !
