I agree (Pls don't blitzkrieg me)
avatar
Chelsea tend to ruin a lot of players tho.. let's see how Nkunku will turn out
avatar
Sancho mainly has psychological issues and Werner even returned to Bundesliga, but is clearly not the same ever since he went to Chelsea.
avatar
dont forget kdb came from the bundesliga
avatar
Born and raised in Germany, never lived in Finland, father from Senegal. How is he finnish?
avatar
Flick is such a joke of a coach. Doesn't nominate Rüdiger and Süle, but still decides to leave out Thiaw. Good luck with Waldemar Anton or whatever CB you nominate against Belgium bruh.
avatar
at least 85 potential stop being biased because of one bad game
avatar
Something really bad must've happened behind the scenes. They didn't sack him after the Villareal embarassment, they didn't sack him after the really bad form in the early season, but sack him now when the team is actually starting to play good? It's just weird af.
avatar
Tuchel and BVB haven't really parted in good ways

Yeah cry you clown

Puh... that's not easy to answer. In Germany there's the 50+1 rule which doesn't allow anybody to hold the majority of the club, but still there's a hand full of clubs for which this is the case due to let's call it special situations. So besides this hand full of clubs, Germany tries to have as much performance culture as possible, which would result in the clubs economic power being as strong as its performances the last year. For most clubs you can say, without performing before or overperforming according to their economic power for a while (as Freiburg and Union are doing currently) there's no economic power. So trying to name at least some clubs, I'd probably go with these due to various reasons: HSV: Huge tradition, billionaire investor, he's a fan of the club and therefore fine with investing but not having the majority. Helped them out a lot in the past but it's definitely no guarantee for him to do that and I don't know if he even does anymore. Schalke: Huge tradition, was (or still is, idk) highly in debts, but I'd see them as strong due to their huge fan base (3rd most members in Germany). Köln: Huge tradition, financially weak but again here, I'd see strong potential due to their huge fan base (4th most members in Germany). Augsburg: They have some US investors now (Blitzer), idk the exact plan of those investors. Stuttgart: Local sponsorship from Mercedes, currently I'd say the club is financially weak but you never know if Mercedes might step in a bit more ... besides those I think there's pure performance culture, which btw is also kind of the case for them as all of them either were top clubs in the past (HSV, Köln, Schalke, Stuttgart) or overperformed for a while (Augsburg). Maybe take into consideration, that I'm not a fan of any of those clubs, so this is a very high level view, some fans of the clubs might not agree to this.
avatar
I don't really get your question. You're asking for economically strong or doing a climb performance wise? ... as Union and Freiburg did a climb performance wise but are not economically strong
avatar
Hello everyone, according to you which team could the next big thing? I mean, an underdog that’s both economic and glamorous could become a regular team in the top seven, so not one that’s already traveling on those tracks. Maybe an important city with an important following from the fans. Thanks to those who will answer

Most entertaining league for me

Leverkusen - kits are cooler, club is less plastic the only acceptable Leipzig career mode is a RoadToRuin
avatar
While I tend to agree it's tricky tough... Leverkusens history goes back to TUS 04, which was founded as the football team of the company Bayer. Wolfsburgs history goes back to 1. FC Wolfsburg which was founded with members of VWs former company team. Also VW sponsors them since the 1950s. I'm not sure if it would have been correct to kick Bayer and VW out when 50+1 was founded in 1999. For Hoffenheim I don't know enough, but Hopp anounced early this month to give away his majority, so it's a 50+1 confirm club now. For Leipzig I fully agree, seems as they just got themselves a loophole without anybody doing something against it.
avatar
Augsburg and Mainz on the other side are indeed smaller clubs too, but they have worked well and honestly to get to where they are now.
avatar
Bundesliga's problem is not the 50+1 rule: The exceptions and special rules for certain clubs are what really makes this leauge more and more unattractive. Teams like Hoffenheim, Leipzig, maybe also Leverkusen and Wolfsburg don't generate much attention to most fans. Too little relevance. For a leauge that identifies as the one with greatest fan support, these clubs are parasites.
avatar
not a fan of our current approach with a tall and slow striker. neither tigges nor dietz are good enough for the bundesliga atm. i think the ideal lineup if everybody is fit would be something like this: https://sofifa.com/squad/1397142 a lot of those players can be switched around because most of them can play more than one position and especially with huseinbasic and ljubicic on the pitch we can easily turn to a 4231 or 4222 if needed since both of them are able to play as a dm aswell.
avatar
Sucks you couldn't go through but having 7/8 German teams in Europe remain in Europe is still excellent for the league and you put up a fight. GL in the Buli.
avatar
congrats on the call up. I wonder how he does

cry about it

You can't expect every top player to be a Messi/CR7 regen, regardless of what league they're playing in. Football is already a very difficult sport in your own position let alone someone else's. Players need to play in their preferred natural positions so they can utilize their best strengths and contribute to their team's overall build-up. Would you deploy Giroud at RW? Or Kante as a #10 CAM? No didn't think so. This season, Havertz is finding it difficult to perform because Potter is playing him as an Out & Out ST leading the frontline attack. It's a role that's totally out of his comfort zone due to his lack of physicality, movements, danger sense & overall killer instincts.
avatar
His profile is that of a Shadow ST that loves to poach Kai needs to be playing alongside or behind a natural Target Man that can peel of defenders in the box.
avatar
would be the greatest Irish player ever tbf
avatar
You literally had one job, to writte ,,Emre Can,, wtf is wrong with you -.-
avatar
It is thanks to Southampton that he can play in the premier league.. would you rather have him rot away in the youth squad at Manchester city?
avatar
By home, ur sayin Anderlecht right ?
avatar
weak effort, casual take, overused "keep crying" tactic. 2/10, try again
avatar
Relatively harmless and inoffensive, piss-poor attempt at getting a negative reaction. 4/10, do better
avatar
Garnacho - ManUdt great talent - 🇦🇷 (for own decision): 68/86 - no profile photo Moleiro - good young player but plays in second division- 🇪🇦 75/88 😒 Ea is a big joke
avatar
Hello??? Update 75/88 like the unknown Moleiro
avatar
Almost impossible to continue the winning streak for the next 3 games which will be very intense so just praying our only let down is a draw vs Chelsea
avatar
I wouldn’t say Bayern is corrupt but I appreciate the sentiment 💪

Owned the piss drink company

-1 Potential XDDDDDDDDDD
avatar
I knew it! I knew EA was gonna downgrade his potential. Written in the starts.
avatar
another defensive masterclass
avatar
It’s a joke about his potential though he’s been playing like an 83 or even more lately
avatar
Deserves 83

Better talent than Bella-Ketchup

Love that, our future cb partnership
avatar
Milan over the last couple of years always has an amazing centre back or two that are performing out of their boots. Two seasons ago it was Kjær, last season Kalulu & Tomori and this season Thiaw
avatar
I'm excited about him getting called up for the German national team in March! I'm sure he will be and it's very much deserved.
avatar
Was always a good player but now he's unbelievable. With performances like these it's only a matter of time to call him world class.
avatar
80/90 in 1-2 months, incredible player
avatar
Wirtz, Musiala, Bischof, Wanner, Ibrahimovic... who as a starter in 5 years 🤔 too complicated question
avatar
If all german Mids end Up Reaching Their potential and some manager of the NT finds the way To Place them All or Must of them on A Starting Xi With success And good results.... German midelfield will be Superb Class....
avatar
he took it personal
avatar
Better than Gavi
avatar
He was supposed to be given a chance when joining Bayern, meanwhile even in Pokal Neuer was playing ahead of him. Bayern ignored him for a whole year back then, so now he doesn't give a f about Bayern. Why would he even come back, to play few months and then get benched again by favourite grandpa and his friend Tapalovic, he's no longer than dumb fortunately.
avatar
I agree in principle, but I actually think we have higher potential with a 3atb system once Hernandez is fit. It suits Mazraoui, Cancelo and Davies better as it frees them for more offensive duties, which they're great at. I feel like a 4231 is better with superb wingers like Ribery and Robben back in the day, something we don't have anymore. Our wingers are arguably our weakest point right now (including even the striker position). Not to mention a defensive line of Upa, MDL and Hernandez seems too good to pass off. But I'm totally with you about sticking to one system.
avatar
I understand the props people give to De Bruyne over the years but this man must be THE most disrespected player on earth... Last season he had 18 league assists. Season before another 18, and before that HE HAD 21!! Those numbers aren't normal... Absolute supreme talent
avatar
Don’t think he’s wants to play Conference league footy fella
